After 21 years, the Albion team and I have decided to move onto new projects. We would like to thank you for your valued custom over the years and are pleased to announce that as of 5pm Friday 28th February 2025, Albion Waste has been acquired by First Mile Limited. Their customer service is excellent and they will continue to prioritise your needs.

First Mile have operated waste collections in London and the UK since 2009. First Mile run almost 100 vehicles daily collecting from over 30,000 locations and were the 2024 UK Waste and Recycling Industry Operator of the Year.

Key information regarding your services is as follows;

Services and Pricing - Your schedules, pricing and contract will remain the same. All drivers and the service team are transferring across to First Mile and will continue to perform the same collections.

Invoicing - Invoices for services up to and including February will come from Albion Waste and are payable to Albion Waste. Your invoice for March services will come from First Mile with new bank details.

Customer Service - You can reach the First Mile team 24/7/365 on 0333 300 3448. We will send you login details to your new waste customer portal, including all details of your schedules and services that have come across from Albion Waste.

Simpler Recycling Legislation – We appreciate you may have questions about new UK laws that go live for businesses with more than 10 employees from 1st April 2025. First Mile can ensure you are fully compliant with this legislation and more information can be found here.
